Dear Friends,

            We would like for each church within Concord Union to join again this year as we continue our “Circle of Love” prayer chain as a vital part of Spiritual Awakening! We all know how important  prayer is to doing what God wants us to do and what He will do through us as we are obedient to Him.

            The Spiritual Awakening Committee would like each church to help us as we pray for one another.  Can you imagine the possibilities when all of our 67 churches and missions are praying specifically for one church in our association? We will see results of united prayer that will encourage the work of the Kingdom in our midst!

            Would you please join us in praying one for another by emphasizing the “Church of the Week” in your bulletin or newsletter? Encourage your church members to pray for this designated church and their various ministries. Include this church in your prayer room emphasis. Make special mention of them in your Wednesday night prayer service. Send them a prayer card! Remember them during your Sunday worship services! There are so many ways to saturate the “church of the week” with prayer.

            Please find in this letter a schedule that includes all 67 churches and missions of Concord Union.  There may be changes from time to time so, please check your newsletter each month or call the Missions & Ministry Center at 318-255-9030 for an up to date list. Let us pray together one for another. As you pray for other churches please remember to include:

            1. Prayer for the pastor.

            2. Prayer for the staff.

            3. Prayer for the deacons.

            4. Prayer for the children and youth.

            5. Prayer for unity within the body.

            6. Prayer for the unsaved in the local community.

            7. Prayer for a spiritual awakening in that area.
